Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
Our partner is a globally established technology company with a strong international presence and a stable background. Their Budapest-based team is continuously growing, offering the opportunity to work on large-scale, business-critical systems in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain micro-segmentation and security controls within large, enterprise-wide transformation programs for organizations across Europe.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with Transformation Program Directors, Senior Architects, Steering Committees, the CISO, and CTI partners to deliver complex programs
- Support the Security Architecture Council and Working Groups
- Automate repetitive operational tasks with Python and Shell: software installs and upgrades, database and OS patching, server provisioning
- Prepare project plans, run impact analyses, and troubleshoot high-impact technical issues to restore services quickly
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with a micro-segmentation tool (e.g., Illumio, VMware vDefend, or similar)
- Strong automation and scripting skills in Python or Shell
- Current eligibility to work in Hungary

Location & Contract: Budapest, district XI, Hungary (hybrid, 2 office days/week) | Full-time, permanent, 40 hours/week
