Head of Product Engineering
Our international fintech partner is looking for an experienced engineering leader to oversee a global product engineering organization and support large-scale technology transformation initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership, operational ownership, and strong technical understanding in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
Main responsibilities
- Leading globally distributed engineering teams across multiple product areas
- Driving scalable, secure, and reliable software delivery
- Partnering with senior technology and product stakeholders
- Improving engineering processes, delivery efficiency, and operational maturity
- Supporting transformation initiatives and AI adoption
- Coaching engineering managers and team leads
- Balancing roadmap delivery, technical debt, and operational work
- Collaborating with architecture, cloud, security, and data teams
Requirements
- Senior engineering leadership experience in fintech, financial services, or complex digital environments
- Experience managing large engineering organizations (100+ people)
- Strong background in Agile delivery and modern engineering practices
- Experience leading international teams across multiple time zones
- Hands-on technical understanding of modern architectures and cloud environments
- Familiarity with technologies such as: React / Next.js, Kafka, Microservices, AWS, Containerized platforms, Relational databases
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
